This quaint original farmhouse is located amongst the vines at Mayfield Vineyard. The quiet cottage overlooks a small lake with tree lined walks into the vineyard. With fresh, country style interior and cosy living spaces complete with a warm gas fireplace, this a great place to relax. This is the perfect country retreat for a family or large group.

The  Settlers Cottage

The first cottage to be built on Mayfield in 1886 and is featured on our wine label. A classic weatherboard cottage, with historic charm.

A two bedroom, one bathroom weatherboard cottage with north facing verandah, exposed sawn timber flooring and tongue-and-groove wall panelling. One of the oldest cottages in the Orange district. Original polished floorboards, country style interiors.

The School House 

Originally built as The School house for the Scottish staff's children of Mayfield and the local farming fraternity. Its north-easterly aspect providing stunning views over the ornamental dam and vineyards.

The Garden Flat

This accomodation is part of the one hundred year old homestead of Mayfield. It has a separate entrance, is fully self-contained and overlooks an English style arboretum. Nestled amongst beautiful tended greenery of the four acre garden, the garden flat offers the most peaceful and tranquil setting for a weekend away. Our Garden Flat can also be combined with our Homestead to create 7 bedrooms.

Built in 1910 this William Hardy Wilson architecturally heritage listed designed homestead has stood the test of time. 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 Fireplace, Formal dining area, 3 living areas, Large kitchen, Outdoor dining. Our Garden Flat can also be combined with our Homestead to create 7 bedrooms.
